Cast Iron Pork Chops
Ingredients1 pkg Pork Chops
Season to your taste with the following:
2 tbsp Vegetable oil (for frying)
1/2 Red Onion
1 Roma Tomato sliced
Baby spinach (1-2 handfuls)
2 cups Rice (washed)
DirectionsPreheat oven to 350. Season and coat the meat well with the above mentioned ingredients then place in the pan, frying for approximately 10 minutes.
Next, remove the meat,set aside, and put the spinach in the pan, then top with the meat.
Now, slice the onions and tomatoes covering the meat and spinach.
Remove the pan from the stove and transfer it to the oven to finish cooking, uncovered for 20 minutes. (Feel free to set a timer)
While the meat is in the oven, wash and begin making the rice. Once the meat has cooked, remove from the oven, begin plating, ENJOY!
PS…This goes well with a sparkling white wine.
