Hi my name is Brittany and I am a content contributor for For Food Sake!

Lazy days are definitely a thing WE ALL HAVE, and now that there’s a global pandemic happening, the desire to do anything, namely cooking, just isn’t there. I changed that today; sort of. Like most people, figuring out what to make for lunch can sometimes be challenging, but that wasn’t the case today. Today, was just one of those days where I kept it simple. I grabbed everything from my fridge, tossed it into a bowl, and it turned out well.Over the last few years I have developed a passion and love for baking, but that pleasure and satisfaction in the final results of my product, didn’t come easy. The struggle was real, and this was apparent when it came time to decorate my box-made cupcakes and cakes, and as a result I would usually settle for a store bought cake. And with my determination, as well as the support of family and friends, I pressed on and continued to do what I have come to love.

But it was during the Covid19 pandemic, since I had nothing but time, that I came across some amazing recipes on Pinterest. More specifically, I found this drip cake on Handle the Heat. Now, if you’re anything like me, you enjoy a good birthday cake, and by that I mean it not only taste good, but it has to be visually appealing. Leading up to my birthday, I knew that I wanted to create a drip cake for my birthday. And here we have it, the image to the left is the result of my hard work and determination. This cake recipe, click the button below, has now become my go-to for the birthday cakes of family and friends.

My biggest tip for baking the right cake is, FOLLOW THAT RECIPE…BE PATIENT..AND MAKE SURE YOU REALLY GREASE UP THOSE CAKE PANS. 😉 Click the link below for how to make this delicious dessert. ENJOY!
